James "Bud" Strickland, Jr

James Strickland Jr., 76 of Xenia, passed away on Friday May 04, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. James was born August 18, 1941 in Xenia, to James R. Strickland Sr. and Myrtle Porter. He worked for the water department of Fairborn and served in The United States Navy. He loved old music and stamp collecting.James is survived by his children: James Strickland III, Darlene Kemp, Russell Strickland, Elizabeth Freelan, Cindy Strickland, Teresa Freeland, Jason Strickland, Carl Strickland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Starlene Phelps, Linda Shaw, Dora Graham.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Strickland; parents, James R. Strickland Sr. and Myrtle Porter and daughter, Trina Strickland.

There are no services at this time and cremation has been scheduled.
