Margaret L. Hartsock, 70, of Xenia, passed away Thursday morning, April 26, 2012, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born January 28, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde and Laura Hanshell Barnett. She was a member of Xenia Christian Center. She retired from General Motors. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Neil E. Hartsock, four sons and daughters-in-law, Cris (Cynthia) Hartsock, North Hampton, OH, Neil A. Hartsock, Xenia, Douglas Gastiger, Jamestown, and Brian (Charlene) Gastiger, Clanton, AL, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Myrtle (Earl) Wagner and Donna (Phillip) Barnett, of Xenia, and Phyllis Cunningham, Florida, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Robert Eugene Barnett. Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Monday, April 30, 2012, at Valley View Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia.
