Ronald James Brittingham, age 82, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 3, 1942 in Xenia the son of Clarence and Betty (Smith) Brittingham.
Ron is survived by his wife, Laura L. (Butts) Brittingham, whom he married March 17, 1973; his children: James Michael (Beth) Graham; Barbara Jo (Jimmy) Graham; Denise Louise Jordan; Angela Lynn (Tony) Daye and William Joseph Graham; brother: Clarence Robert (Jean) Brittingham; 24 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren (expecting one more soon) and 7 great great grandchildren (also expecting another soon) and his special friend: Kenny Marlin.
He retired from the Chrysler Corp. where he worked with AC/Heating Assembly. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to travel with his wife and children, and picking a new vacation spot every time. Together they were able to visit at least 20 States.
He was a loving husband, proud father and adoring papaw.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Ron Swiger officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.Â
